Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens

Bannerghatta National Park

One of the best places to visit near Bangalore, the Bannerghatta National Park can be easily reached from the city. A large variety of species of flora and fauna can be found here. Spread across an area of around 104.27 square kilometers, this butterfly Park was later converted into a National Park in the year 1971. Primarily a natural zoo in a thick forest region, you can see everything starting from an aquarium to a big crocodile farm.

Nandi Hills

One of the best Bangalore tourist places, you can reach Nandi hills with a drive of around 60 kilometers from the city. A popular viewpoint, this place remains crowded on weekends and holiday season. Situated at a height of approximately 1478 above sea level, the climate here is very pleasant.x
